Love Is In The Air

With the month of love still upon us, I ponder over the frequently asked question.

What is love? Love has millions of definitions. Each person perceives and manifests it in his own way. According to me, love is the greatest emotion of all. Nothing is above this sweet and happy emotion. It’s also an unconditional promise, a lifelong commitment to someone – with no barriers of age, caste, creed, sex, whatsoever.

How do you know it’s love? Love can be felt by the warmth that fills the cockles of your heart. You know you’re in love when you indulge in sweet gestures and little things that may go unnoticed but matter the most to you. Holding hands, long hugs, shy smiles, shoulder kisses, the drive-safe texts, sweet somethings, and a lot more. It’s these tiny things that make you sense the loving and longing more than ever before. It’s easy to plan sophisticated nights out but when someone makes you feel really happy by just doing small things, that’s when you know you’ve got something really special!

So as the season of love continues to spread its sweet magic all around, I’m motivated to share some love quotations from a few of my favourite movies. Don’t just read them, feel them from your insides of your heart, and you might just fall in love too.

  3. I used to think love was a feeling, the warm fuzzies or when your heart skips a beat. That’s infatuation~ love comes after… it’s when you don’t want to do something but you do it anyway because your person needs it (sacrifice). It’s when you still care for someone even when they made you angry. It’s when you always try to do things in your person’s best interest. It’s when you still tell someone they are wrong even if it means they’ll get mad. Love isn’t just a feeling~
