My September Favourites

Hey, my lovely readers. What’s up?

I’m back again with my list of favourites for the month. Honestly, this whole month has kept me on my toes with online classes, back to back college assignments, and so much more. A hectic and tiring month indeed. But I must say that the pros never stop surprising me. Like always, this month too had its share of sweet surprises and special moments that brought big grins to my face. Sharing three of my favourite moments of the month with my blogging community.

Love you Savage Love

Savage Love… Did Somebody, Did Somebody, Break Your Heart… Ooohh! I cannot stop humming these line all day. The darling of all songs. This one tops my current playlist. How did I learn about this song? Well, my cousin sister sent it to me. I listened to it and fell totally in love with everything about it – the tune, lyrics, and the voice of the artists Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo. It’s mesmerizing and takes you on a road to catharsis. The musical notes and beats are also so familiar. No wonder this recent 2020 release that has taken all music lovers by storm has become a global pop smash.

Savage Love you rock. Heading for a long trip? Play it on repeat!

Surprise Birthday Party

Another special moment of the month was my lovely mom’s birthday fun. So, my mom shares her birthday with her twin sister on 25 Sept. Being the lockdown time, celebrating at her favourite restaurant was out of question. But both the families were eager to make it special for the twin ladies. Shhh… a surprise birthday party was naturally in the offing. Everyone pitched in, a two-tier cake was ordered, the room was decorated, celebratory dinner was arranged, and the families got together to raise a toast to them. To top it all, we also compiled a loooong video with virtual birthday wishes pouring in from the entire family and their circle of friends and colleagues. I’m sure the twins got emotional with this sweet surprise, as one couldn’t miss the sparkle in their eyes.

For a Greener Cause

I’m always into supporting causes that are close to my heart. And saving mother earth / nature or going green is definitely one of them. I try my best to prevent tree cutting, if it’s happening in my vicinity. Also, I do not miss a single reason to plant new trees. This month, I planted a sweet holy basil to support some cause (not mentioning the cause for personal reasons). It gives me immense happiness if I’m able to do my bit for nature in my own trivial way. My plant is slowly growing with daily watering and nurturing, making me understand the importance of loving those who matter to us. Loving and nurturing gives an entirely different meaning to our lives. Right?

On that note, I extend my deepest gratitude to all of you my loving blogging family for constantly supporting me at every single step of my journey.

Thank you for reading Chasing The Maximum Life!

I really love savage love… heard my cousin play it last week and it’s good. The song I’m currently in love with most is holy by Justin Bieber🙏❤

It is so important to plant as many trees as possible. Our planet needs us —I am trying my best to reduce plastic waste in our household xx
