How to Dress for a Quarantined Monsoon?

Monsoon has officially hit the bay!

When I woke up this morning, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful droplets of rain water splattered on my window pane. Oh how overjoyed I became! However, the change of weather also brought cool breeze with it, compelling me to change into something warm and cosy.

Monsoon is undoubtedly my favourite season. The splash of rain shower and the breezy weather makes you fall in love all over again! Another important reason is that I get to wear all those chic and comfy clothes lying in my closet. So there I was, tuning into my comfy pyjamas and polo neck tees to stay warm and snuggly at home.

If you’re in a dilemma and wondering what to wear this monsoon, I bring you cute and cheerful dressing ideas that will make you have fun during rains!

A Ray of Hope

Today at the beginning of a new month and a new season too, I am getting positive vibes of inspiration and goodness. On that note, I would like to share my thoughts on positivity and tell you a simple story of a close friend who’s a perfect example of inspiration and motivation. And to think of it, she had lost all hopes not very long back. Being a dear friend, I have seen her trauma very closely.

Sometime last year, Raina (name changed) woke up to feelings of hopelessness and disturbed thoughts one morning. A battery of tests confirmed a psychological disorder. She was put on medication that had their own side effects on her body. She not only started gaining weight but also started behaving aggressively with everyone around her. She would fight, turn violent and depressed frequently and behaved a different person altogether. She soon became a subject of empathy. We would all think of ways to make her feel better and happy but were deeply saddened by her condition. Her parents and her family always stood by her and supported her completely. Soon the treatment started working on her, almost like a miracle.

As days passed, she became better and better. And today, she has come out of her condition totally and is a transformed person. This proves that however dark the path is, there is light at the end of the tunnel. And that is the little ray of hope we must always hold on to!

P.S – Remember your ray of hope and keep moving in life.
